These terms govern your use of Clair Flow. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, website, or hosted service, you agree to them. If you use Clair Flow for a company, team, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
Service
Clair Flow is a hosted subscription product that includes a native Mac app, a cloud processing service, and an account dashboard. Clair Flow is Mac-only at launch, and features, limits, and availability may change over time.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to use the service, and if you are under 18 you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that happens under your account.

App license
Subject to these terms, Clair Flow grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Clair Flow app and related services for your own internal personal or business use. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, lease, reverse engineer, or try to access the service by unauthorized means, except where applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to do so.
Your content
You retain your rights in the audio, transcript text, glossary entries, and other content you submit to Clair Flow. You grant Clair Flow a limited right to host, process, transmit, and store that content as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and support the service. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed for the content you submit and for the environments where you use Clair Flow.
Billing

$10/month - once you subscribe, the subscription renews monthly until you cancel
- subscriptions can be managed or canceled from the account dashboard
- if you cancel, your paid access continues through the end of the current billing period
- if payment fails, Clair Flow may suspend paid access until billing is resolved
- fees may change in the future, but changes will apply only on a later billing cycle after reasonable advance notice
- refunds are provided only when required by law
Acceptable use
- violate applicable law or another person’s rights
- upload or transmit malware, spam, or harmful code
- probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass the security or operation of the service
- use Clair Flow to build or operate a competing hosted dictation or transcript-processing service without permission
- use Clair Flow in a way that could create legal, medical, safety, employment, credit, or other high-risk harm without independent human review of the output
Availability and changes
Clair Flow is provided as an online service, and uptime is not guaranteed. Clair Flow may add, remove, or modify features at any time. Clair Flow may also suspend or discontinue all or part of the service if needed for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or product changes. If Clair Flow permanently discontinues a paid service before the end of a billing period, Clair Flow will provide a prorated refund for the unused portion of that period.
Intellectual property and feedback
Except for your content, Clair Flow and its licensors own the service, software, website, branding, and related intellectual property. These terms do not give you any ownership rights in Clair Flow. If you send feedback or suggestions, Clair Flow may use them without restriction or obligation to you.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Clair Flow at any time. Clair Flow may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, fail to pay, create risk or harm to Clair Flow or others, or if Clair Flow is required to do so by law. Clair Flow may act immediately where delay would create security, legal, or operational risk. On termination, your right to use Clair Flow ends immediately.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clair Flow is provided “as is” and “as available.” Clair Flow does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that transcript output will always be accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. You should review output before relying on it, especially for legal, medical, financial, employment, compliance, or safety-sensitive use. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clair Flow will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, business, goodwill, or data. Clair Flow’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service or these terms will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid to Clair Flow in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to the extent prohibited by law.
Changes to these terms
Clair Flow may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, Clair Flow will provide reasonable notice before the updated terms take effect, such as by posting an update on the site or contacting the email address associated with your account. By continuing to use Clair Flow after the updated terms take effect, you agree to the revised terms.
